Trademarks protect the Black Panther identity from being commercially exploited by companies unrelated to the Party or its values whom seek to commercialize this legacy of service for personal gain. Protecting trademarks like the Black Panther and All Power to the People preserves them as authentic symbols of the Party’s work and for all Black Panther Party members whom are continuing its legacy to this day.
